Tse Wing Cheung, Rico (ATCL Recital Diploma)
Studying at the Hong Kong Music Institute in 1985, Mr. Tse practiced his traditional music with guitar as main instrument. Over the years, Tse's engagements have included different kinds of open performances and participated the master course of Gerald Garcia, Nicola Hall and Philippe Loli. His performance is highly respected and welcomed by his audiences.
Highlights of his achievement are:
Winner of the First Hong Kong Guitar Competition in 1997 and a CD entitled “The Magic of Music Instruments” was recorded.
Performed in Concierto de Aranjuez with the Hong Kong Symphony Orchestra in 2000
Invited by Hong Kong Symphony Society to present a solo recital in 2003.
With sponsorship from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC), the “Classical Guitar in School Project” was held from 2006 to 2008. Series of free recitals and concerts were provided for students at schools.
A Guest performer in Dragon Centre Arts Festival held by ADC in 2007.
Recent performances namely: “ The Wonder of Six Strings” as organized by the Lesure and Cultural Services Department, and performed over one hundred concerts during 2006-2008.
謝永祥
一九八五年於香港音樂專科學校學習正?音樂，並以結他為主修樂器，期間積極參與各類形之公開演出；並先後出席 Gerald Garcia、Nicola Hall 及 Philippe Loli 之大師班，均獲讚賞。
謝氏於九五年獲香港結他資訊聯會之邀請參加 "新一代精英" 音樂會；翌年為音樂事務處舉辦之音樂營作表演嘉賓及多次於市政局主辦之音樂會中演出；九七年於第一屆香港結他大賽獲獎，同年獲貝蘭登堡樂坊邀請參與灌錄唱片 "奇幻音樂特輯"。
二千年與香港交響樂團在香港大會堂音樂廳合作演出 "亞蘭尼茲" 協奏曲。零三年應香港交響樂協會邀請於大會堂劇院舉行獨奏音樂會。零六年獲香港藝術發展局資助舉辦 "古典結他校園巡禮"，透過四十多場的校園音樂會，讓更多青少年學生對古典結他音樂有更深入認識。零七為香港藝術發展局主辦之西九龍藝術節作表演嘉賓。同年為康樂及文化事務署擔任社區文化大使，籍此機會推廣社區音樂文化。
"結他藝術工作坊" 是一所專門教授古典結他的機構，謝永祥老師除擁有二十多年教授結他經驗，更熱心推廣結他及參與表演活動，單是近兩年為香港藝術發展局及康樂文化事務署主持的演奏及講座接近多一百場，此外亦為電視節目 "文化廣場" 中演奏古典結他，令更多人分享到古典結他的樂趣。
